Abshade Ultra 95 – 10 year warranty

PTFE Thread and Stitching.

The stitching we always use is PTFE Thread. It is chemical heat and UV resistant and stands up tough against the outdoor elements such as UV rays, rain, salt, water, dirt, and oxidising agents/solvents. The stitching also has a 10 year warranty. NASA uses this stitching in their space suits as it withstands phenomenal amounts of pressure.

Stainless Steel wire (Marine Grade)

All our tailor made/custom shade sails have minimum 3.5mm stainless steel wire in the outside cable pocket of the sail. Having the wire in the outside of the sail keeps the sail tight at all times. We only use stainless steel wire as galvanised wire will rust over time.
